If you would like to suggest a member who has been here for more than 2 months, post their screen name as the title and their Xat ID and the reasons why they would make a good mod as the body.

Make sure you post it under "People Who Should Be Mods".

If someone has over 3 bans logged, or has asked to become a moderator or owner, please post their full screen name as the title and their Xat ID as the body.

Or, if you think someone isn't doing a good job moderating post their screen name as the title and their Xat ID and the reasons why in the body.

Make sure you post it  under "People Who Shouldn't Be Mods".

For MODS ONLY:

Here you can find information on how long you should ban someone according to punishment. I really wish we didn't have to have this...

For any ordinary rule broken: 3 kicks, then a 2 hour ban, 6 hour ban, then permanent ban.

(I think 5 warnings is enough)

For specific rules:

Impersonating a moderator or me: Automatic 6 hour ban, then permanent ban.

Advertising: Automatic 2 hour ban, then 6 hour ban, then permanent ban.

Sharing PI: 2 hour ban each time.

If someone asks to be a mod or owner, get their name and Xat ID and report them at the "People Who Shouldn't Be Mods" section.

I tried to make these as easy to remember as possible!!

Okay, I know this is a blog, but it works well because it has settings to only let mods and owners post here.

To log a kick or ban, put the person's full username as the title and the reason why and their Xat ID as the body. Make sure you put it in the ONE correct catagory. Under title, click on Catagory 1 and choose the "Bans" group. Every post will have a timestmap automatically attached, so you don't have to put the date.

Only log your OWN bans. If someone else banned the person, they're responsible to post it here.
